Chaining and Laptops

Good Afternoon folks. I'm going to try and update you on a daily basis as much as I can.
Alrighty, in reference to the title, Chaining, as in chaining up your tires in cold weather is the absolute worse. I hate it with a passion. For those of you who live in the west and northwest, you know what I'm talking about. I just picked up a load of Christmas Trees bound for NYC and am now heading that way.
On another note, my laptop's hard drive has crashed and so now I'm down to just my smartphone until I can fix the bugger or replace it. GRRRR!
Not to digress from the title, but I've also been having concerns as to what I would say to my son if he were to discover that he was gay and then told me. If that were to happpen, it would be a life altering decision for both me and him on how I would handle it. Sorry about going off on a tangent there. I guess I shouldn't ponder and post at the same time. lol

  1. Is this something (I might have missed) that you have a concern/feeling about your son? Or is it just a random question? Either way, I guess, it would be a major situation, but there would be so many many ways to make it into a GOOD situation, I don't think you should worry too much.

Can't you take the truck to like, a service station / garage? Or is this something people do themselves? LOL.

Sorry to hear bout the laptop, hope you can fix it soon - smaller hard drives are pretty cheap these days, if you don't need a ton of space you can save a few bucks.

    *hugs*

  2. I'm sure you'd find a way to tell your son you love him the same as ever, and you want him to have a good life. You might want to share your views on sexual morality and interpersonal relationships — where sex belongs in a person's life. You might want to tell him that he doesn't have to try to fit any stereotype of gayness, but just be himself. Probably tell him that his orientation is his own business and he doesn't have to come out to people he'd rather not tell, and if he doesn't want the world to know, be sure he can trust anybody he does tell to keep it confidential.

If it happens, I'm sure you'll do fine.
